ITT Wins Contract to Operate and Maintain U.S. Army Communications and Information Systems in Asia and Africa

Dec. 14, 2005 – The U.S. Army Information Technology, E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center-West has awarded ITT the Total Army Communications -- Southwest Asia, Central Asia and Africa (TAC-SWACAA) contract to operate and maintain communications and information systems in Southwest Asia, Central Asia and Africa. The contract covers one base year with four one-year options, and has a potential value of $681 million when all options are exercised. Contract work will be performed by ITT's Systems Division, headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, under the operational direction of the Network Enterprise Technology Command's (NETCOM) 160th Signal Brigade.
